TDE-1000 Series surface vertical rod exit devices are an ideal choice for a wide variety of heavy-duty commercial, institutional, and industrial door applications where durability, reliability, and code compliance are required at an economical price. - ANSI Function 08 (Classroom) or 09 (Night Latch / Storeroom): Ships as 08 Classroom – 09 function achieved with single trim modification at installation

- Door heights: 7′ Standard – extended top rods available for up to 8′ tall doors
- Top latch: U shaped top latch for secure engagement with strike (not electric strike compatible)

- Heavy-duty extruded anodized aluminum mechanism case and cover plate
- Steel chassis, center case cover, push pad, and end cap

- Includes 1-1/8″ mortise cylinder with a straight cam, 6-pin, Schlage C keyway, with 2 keys
