PBB SA81 Single Acting Spring Hinge
PBB, Inc. template hinges are manufactured to close tolerances and meet all specifications and requirements set by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
- Single-acting spring hinge is designed for 1-3/4″ stock hollow metal or wood doors
- UL Listed to Grade 2 ANSI/BHMA requirement A 156.17
- Permits doors to open in single direction and automatically return to the closed position
- Pivot points do not align with standard full mortise hinges
- All hinges are ANSI template
- SA81 – 6.0″ X 4.5″ / 6.0″ X 6.0″ / 6.0″ X 7.0″
It is advisable to use three hinges on a door. The center hinge should be installed as close as possible to the top hinge for maximum support. Hinge capacity decreases as door height decreases.
