Pemko 18061_NB (MS) Split Astragal

The 18061_NB features a densely compressed nylon brush seal. The casing measures 3/4" in height, while the brush portion has a height of 5/8".

Brush meeting stile astragals are used to seal the gap between pairs of doors (screwed-on to surface of each door). Typically used on pairs with vertical rod exit devices and/or push/pull setups. When installing pairs of fire doors care must be taken to maintain the requirements of NFPA 80

Features

  • Contain densely compressed nylon filaments encased in a high quality aluminum retainer
  • Designed to be surface applied to seal the gap between two doors
  • Ideally suited for hollow metal and wood door applications
  • Brush remains flexible down to -40°F and has a melting point above 400°F
  • Note: Brush should mesh from 1/32" to 1/16"
  • Lengths: 84″, *96″ and *120″
