Schlage ND40S LAT Grade-1 Cylindrical Lever Lock, Bath/Bedroom Privacy Function, Latitude Lever

The ND Series is ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 certified and performs beyond the Grade 1 standards. The Schlage ND is regularly used in healthcare, education, government, office, retail, and other commercial applications.

ANSI Function F76 – No key; emergency access coin turn outside; push-button inside; spring latch. Inside push button locks outside lever. Turn inside lever or close door to release button and prevent lock-out; outside coin turn provides emergency access. Inside lever is always free for immediate egress.

  • Significantly exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 requirements
  • Withstands 3,100 in-lb. of abusive lever torque
