Sargent 8700 Series (12-NB8715) Grade 1 Top Latch Surface Vertical Rod Exit Bar, Wide Stile Pushpad, 84" Door Height, Fire-Rated, Less Bottom Rod, Passage Function, Less Trim

The NB8700 Surface Vertical Rod Exit Device offers a top latch point with surface vertical rods. Meeting ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 standards, the 8700 can be used for single and double door applications.

  • Device only (trim sold separately)
  • Sargent Function: 15
  • ANSI Function: 14 (passage only)
  • Single point top latching (less bottom rod)
  • Architectural finish with black Lexan touchpad
  • Tripping potential removed - no bottom strike
  • Designed for standard width stile applications on wood and metal doors
  • ANSI/BHMA A156.3 - Grade 1
  • UL10C (Fire) and UL305 (Panic) Listed
  • 12-NB Applications require thermal pin. Thermal Pin supplied when ordered as a 12-NB Device.

  • F Rail for 33" to 36" door widths, No cutting required for 36" door
  • G Rail for 43" to 48" door widths, No cutting required for 48" door
