ANSI Function F76 – Lever with emergency release privacy-pin access in rose outside; lever with push button in rose inside; springlatch • In unlocked state latch is retracted by either lever • Outside lever is made inoperative by pushing button on inside rose • Rotating inside lever retracts latch and releases button unlocking outside lever; closing door also unlocks preventing lock-out • Emergency unlock: an allen key (provided) is inserted or pushed through outside rose access hole and releases button to unlock outside lever • Inside lever always free for immediate egress
