The Original - Hager Companies has been manufacturing the original Continuous Geared Aluminum Hinges for over 25 years. The unique design of Roton® consists of three important parts: an internal rolling contact gear profile, a high-strength cover channel, and solid bearings made of celanex. Working together, these parts evenly distribute door weight and maintain door alignment for superior performance.

  • Heavy duty for high-frequency doors
  • Frame and door leaf alignment ribs for proper hinge and door location
  • For doors 1" (25 mm) to 1-3/8" (35 mm) thick
  • 5/16" (1 mm) minimum clearance recommended hinge side, plus standard lockside clearance
  • Available lengths: 79", 83", 85", *95", and *119"

Field Modifications
While Roton® hinges can be cut in the field, any product modifications may void all warranties. Should in the field modifications be required, cut only from the bottom of the hinge. Do not cut through bearings or screw holes.
