The M1000 Series Grade 1 heavy-duty mortise locksets provide exceptional security, enhanced aesthetics, and rugged dependability.

These premium performance locksets are built with a heavy-duty mortise chassis for all applications where ANSI/BHMA A156.13 Grade 1 products are required. 

The M1000 Series is ideal for schools and universities, hotels, apartments, hospitals and nursing homes, churches, municipal buildings, airports, retail complexes, offices and warehouse applications.

ANSI Function F20, Entry with Deadbolt - Latch bolt retracted by trim either side, except when Stopworks (toggle on mortise face) is engaged, locking the outside trim. • Deadbolt retracted or projected by outside key override or inside thumbturn. • Latch bolt can be retracted by key override. • Inside trim retracts the deadbolt and latch bolt, while the outside trim remains locked. • When outside trim locked or deadbolt projected, latch bolt is deadlocked. • When deadbolt retracted, Stopworks (toggle on mortise face) can be engaged, unlocking the outside trim.
