Adams Rite 8800EL Series (Life-Safety) Narrow Stile Starwheel Rim Exit Device, Electric Latch Retraction

This Adams Rite 8800 rim exit device is for aluminum stile glass storefront doors. A patented "Starwheel" bolt interlocks the door to the frame. The 8800 offers an unobtrusive design for clean sight lines. Designed for use in applications with single doors or pairs of doors with a mullion.

The EL option for rim exit devices uses a solenoid mounted under the pushbar for instantaneous unlocking and locking of the exit device from a remote location or access control device. Because electrical operation of device is fail-secure, this option can be used on fire-rated as well as life-safety applications. In the event of a power failure, device automatically relocks.
