Adams Rite 4590 Deadlatch Paddle for use with 4300/4500/4900 Deadlatches

The 4590 Deadlatch Paddle is an ergonomically friendly alternative to a knob or lever handle. Operate with a simple push or pull.

An alternative to knob or lever handles. Makes opening a latched door as natural as opening an unlatched one – just push or pull in the direction in which the door swings. Compatible with any Adams Rite 4300, 4500 or 4900 Series Deadlatch, MS+1890 Deadlock/Deadlatch, or 2190/2290 Interconnected Deadbolt/ Deadlatch.

Available in four configurations: push left, push right, pull left, and pull right. Can be reconfigured to any mode in the field.

  • Paddle dogging - turning a hex key in the escutcheon holds the paddle down, leaving the door free-swinging
  • Dogging is for use with Push applications only
  • A dogging key is provided
  • Furnished with Cam Plug

Just Push or Pull in the direction the door swings

  • 01 - pull to left; for outside of left hand reverse (LHR) or inside of right hand (RH) door
  • 02 - push to left; for outside of left hand (LH) or inside of right hand reverse (RHR) door
  • 03 - pull to right; for outside of right hand reverse (RHR) or inside of left hand (LH) door
  • 04 - push to right; for outside of right hand (RH) or inside of left hand reverse (LHR) door
