Initiation of the delayed egress sequence is by depression of the TRIDENT paddle. Once pressed, it cannot be reversed and sounds a countdown alarm until releasing the delayed egress module. A continuous alarm sounds until reset by key. Fire alarm system integration provides for immediate unlocking of the delayed egress function upon signal from the fire alarm system, meeting code requirements.

Trident™ Multi-Point Locks provide multi-point deadbolt locking with maximum, time-proven resistance to break-ins. Code-compliant, single-motion exiting retracts all moving bolts simultaneously, as opposed to the use of slide bolts, drop bars, padlocks, etc., which violate building and fire safety codes.

Offering maximum protection at the lock edge, the stainless steel deadbolts project one full inch into the frame. Also included is a hinge-side bolt that protects the door against hinge-side attacks. It is important to note that the Trident™Multi-Point Lock’s bottom locking module bolts into the frame instead of into the floor. History has shown that bolting into the floor causes malfunctioning which results in numerous service calls. This is due to dirt, salt, or moisture accumulation clogging the floor bolt hole. The Trident™ Multi-Point Lock overcomes weakness indoors with a large stainless steel anti-pry plate. All locking modules are all thru-bolted, including the stainless steel anti-pry plate.

Forced Entry Protection ■ Easy Installation ■ Maintenance-Free

Superior protection against prying: Locking bolts located at pry points

Bolts project into the frame: 3 horizontal locking points on lock side & standard one locking bolt on hinge side

Comes standard with 4 locking points: Add more hinge bolts as needed

Stainless steel, 1-1/4” tall main locking bolt: 5/8” Dia. 7” long auxiliary bolts

1” bolt projection – all bolts: Auxiliary bolts are free-spinning to prevent from cutting

Stainless steel anti-pry plate: Thru-bolted at 6 locations

Self-ReLocking: The door locks itself each time it closes (door closer required, sold separately)

Certifications

Warnock Hersey Verified Exit Lock and Exit Device

Miami-Dade Component Approval rated +/-100 PSF Design Pressure and Large Missile Impact

FBC Statewide Approval FL14075 for High-Velocity Hurricane Zones, Includes Large Missile Impact (doors 4’ x 8’)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0610/8813/7372/files/Securitech-TEL-DES-Trident-Multi-Point-Exit-Lock-Delayed-Egress-System.jpg?v=1791224527
https://www.trudoor.com/products/securitech-trident-tel-des-multi-point-exit-lock-delayed-egress-system-for-single-door-applications
